This is an authentic Morocco journey that highlights the best of Morocco starting from Casablanca and flying back from Casablanca. It is a romantic retreat of Morocco.
Day 1 : Casablanca - Marrakech
Upon your arrival, you’ll be met to visit Casablanca, the economical Capital of Morocco. First you’ll visit the central market, the Habous district, the Mohamed V square, the residential area of Anfa and the mosque of Hassan II. Optional fish lunch at the Corniche. After lunch, drive to Marrakech. Arrive late afternoon. Check in and dinner will be served at your hotel included. Retire for the night.
Day 2 : Marrakech ( visit the city )
After breakfast at the hotel, you will have a guided tour of Marrakech, the southern pearl of Morocco. You will discover the Palace of the Bahia, the Saadian Tombs, and many other hidden treasures. After lunch, you will continue with the tour on to the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and the famous Djemaa el-Fna, one of the center attractions of Marrakech. The tour will conclude with an exploration of the souks lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven fabrics and many other art objects of Morocco. Dinner will be served in the hotel
Day 3 : Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Ait Benhadou Kasbah - Ouarzazate
After breakfast, early departure to Telouat via the High Atlas passing through the Tizi N’tichka passe reaching 2260 m. After the Tichka pass, you leave the main road and take a side road to the Telouat Kasbah which belonged to the Lords of the Atlas Pacha Glaoui and his family (lunch in the place). In the afternoon tracks to Ait Ben Haddou kasbah once used as a backdrop for many Hollywood blockbusters, via the Ounila Valley with its Berber villages, then onwards to Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight at the hotel
Day 4 : Ouarzazate - Rose Valley - Todra Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive through Skoura palm groves and the Rose valley to achieve Dades Valley and Todra Gorge – a massive fault dividing the High Atlas Mountains, rising up 300 metres in a narrow valley with palmeries and Berber villages. After lunch you’ll head further into the desert to the gateway town of Merzouga to pick up supplies for your desert trip. You will then drive on to a kasbah to pick up your camel. At sunset, you’ll trek for an hour-and-a-half by camel to a Berber camp where you will enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, and sleep under the stars or in tents at a desert camp.
Day 5 : Merzouga - N'kob - Draa Valley - Agdez
After an unforgettable quiet night among the sand dunes of erg chebbi, you will admire the sunrise upon the dunes, then a typical breakfast is served and return back with camels to the hotel to meet your driver, shower and leave to Rissani, we will explore its touristic area including the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif and the palm tree grove as a part of eco-tourism exploration. Lunch break in Tazarine, then we continue to Agdez via the bridge of Tansikht and the highest part of Draa valley. Dinner and night in a hotel in Agdez.
Day 6 : Agdez - Ouarzazate - High Atlas Mountains - Imlil
After breakfast in your hotel, we leave Agdez driving through the Draa valley to discover the hidden treasures of the Southern region and continue to Ouarzazate where you will have lunch. In the afternoon, we drive to Imlil via the high Atlas Mountains. Upon arrival, you will meet a mountain guide who will take you for a walk to reach a Berber family house where you will spent the night with dinner.
Day 7 : Imlil - Marrakech
After breakfast at the house, you will have three hours hiking in Toubkal mountains with your guide. Lunch at the house. Around 03 p.m you will drive to Marrakech city. Night will be at the Riad
Day 8 : Marrakech - Essaouira
After breakfast at the riad, departure at 08 a.m to Essaouira, an interesting fishing town with Portuguese ramparts and white walls surrounding the city. One of main Morocco’s export goods from here are wooden objects made from thuja tree roots; we will be admiring the craftsmen at work. Lunch will be enjoyed in a sea fruit Restaurant. Then, you have a free afternoon to have a walk by the Atlantic beach. Dinner and night in a hotel or traditional Riad
Day 9 : Essaouira - Safi - El Jadida - Casablanca
Departure from Essaouira with a drive by the Atlantic Ocean to enjoy the beautiful scenery and the ocean breeze. We drive into the city of Safi where it is supposed to stop for lunch and enjoy the Moroccan sardines tajines. Then, continue into El Jadida known as Mazagan during the Portuguese time. Arrival to Casablanca late afternoon. Night at the hotel
Day 10 : Casablanca
Departure to Casablanca airport depends on your flight timing.
